Jaipur Pink Panthers registered a comprehensive win as they beat Puneri Paltan 36-23 in Pro Kabaddi League in Panchkula on Friday. And in the other contest of the day, Bengal Warriors thrashed Tamil Thalaivas 28-21. Deepak Hooda with eight raid points and Sunil Siddhgavale with eight tackle points were the heroes of the match for Jaipur. Puneri Paltan lost their way after the first 10 minutes of the match. G.B. More top scored for Pune with 5 raid points.

Jaipur Pink Panthers still have an outside chance of making it to the playoffs while Puneri Paltan are not in contention. The first five minutes of the match were evenly contested with both teams trading raid and tackle points. Ajinkya Pawar made a successful raid in the 6th minute to give Jaipur Pink Panthers 5-4 lead. Deepak Hooda made a two-point raid in the 10 th minute as

Jaipur led 9-7. From that point Jaipur Pink Panthers never looked back and left Puneri Paltan behind.

An all out was inflicted by Jaipur as they led 12-7 and were in rampant form. In the next 10 minutes they allowed Puneri Paltan to score just two points as Deepak Hooda led the raid department while Sunil Sidhgavali marshaled the defence. At the end of the first half, Jaipur Pink Panthers held a healthy lead of 12 points with the score 21-9.

Sandeep Narwal started the second half on a brighter note for Puneri Paltan with a two-point raid in the 22nd minute. Jaipur Pink Panthers in full control of the match in the second half as they didn’t take any unnecessary risks. With less than five minutes to go, Jaipur led 30-20 and were on course to a comfortable victory.

Pro Kabaddi League: Telugu Titans Beat Patna Pirates To End Home-Leg On Winning Note


Telugu Titans ended their home leg on a good note, registering a 41-36 win over Patna Pirates in a zone B clash of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) at the Rajiv Gandhi indoor stadium here on Thursday. Titan’s star raider Rahul Chaudhary once again emerged with 12 points while Nilesh Salunke also collected nine points. For Patna, skipper Pardeep Narwal picked 12 points but it wasn’t enough to stop his side from tasting a defeat.

Titans started on an outstanding note as Rahul came with a raid point in his very first attempt before his side tackled Pardeep to make the issue 2-0. Nilesh gave a healthy lead to the home side with his stunning four-point raid as the Titans led 6-0 in the initial moments of the game.

Vijay Kumar opened Patna’s scoreboard with a successful raid but the Titans’ raider collected back to back points to help their side take a 14-5 lead by the sixth minute.

The later few minutes saw the hosts struggling to collect points, while the visitors managed to fetch five points in a quick time to make the contest 16-11.

However, it seemed no one could stop the Titans in their last home game as their consecutive defence and raid points saw them taking a 20-11 lead by the 15th minute.

Titans them inflicted an all-out to make the contest 23-12 in their favour and went on to the half-time with a 26-15 lead.

In the second-half, Titans slowly extended their lead to 29-17 by the 24th minute before Pardeep’s two-pointer raid cut the deficit to 29-19 for Patna.

The Patna skipper continued to make successful attempts before making a stunning raid in the 28th minute to help his side inflict an all-out as the score read 32-24.

Patna continued to crawl ahead an picked three points in quick succession, while the hosts somehow managed to get a single point as the score read 33-27 with eight minutes left.

The pendulum once again swung the other way as the Titans’ raiders and defenders came with some brilliant attempts to stretch their side’s lead to 38-29 in the 36th minute.

Patna showed some fight in the dying moments to move at 36 points, however it wasn’t enough to stop Telugu Titans from clinching a much needed 41-36 win.

Gujarat Fortunegiants defeated Haryana Steelers 47-37 in a mouth-watering contest of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Vizag on Wednesday. In the other game, Bengaluru Bulls crushed Telugu Titans 37-24, with Pawan Kumar performing exceedingly well for the Bulls.

K. Prapanjan and Sachin collected 10 points each for Gujarat while Haryana’s Monu Goyat also picked 11 points along with Vikash Knandola’s six points, which couldn’t stop their side from another defeat.

Sachin and Dong Jeeon’s successful raid helped Gujarat take a 2-0 lead in the initial moments before Naveen’s raid made the issue 1-2. However, Sachin and Prapanjan’s back to back successful attempts saw Gujarat leading by 11-4 by the 15th minute.

Gujarat raiders continued with their successful attempts as they took a healthy 28-16 lead by the half-time.

In the second half, both the sides traded equal raid and defending points in the initial few minutes as the scoreline read 32-20 in Gujarat’s favour. However, Gujarat’s dominance continued in the later part as they led 38-22 in the 30th minute and finally went on to clinch the contest 47-37 when final whistle was blown.

Pro Kabaddi League: U Mumba Thrash Dabang Delhi, UP Yoddha Edge Past Telugu Titans


Continuing their winning streak, title favourites U Mumba thrashed Dabang Delhi 44-19 in a completely one-sided affair of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Vizag on Tuesday. Once again, U Mumba witnessed an all-round effort as its raiders and defenders put in a convincing display. In another game, UP Yoddha defeated hosts Telugu Titans 27-20 in a Zone B contest. Siddharth Desai (12 points) and Rohit Baliyan (8 points) were excellent in raid department whereas skipper Fazel Atrachali got a high five and Surender Singh with four points marshalled the defence superbly.

Delhi struggled to get going against a robust opposition and one of its players had a standout match. Meraj Sheykh had a match to forget for Dabang Delhi as he failed to get off the mark.

Despite the defeat Dabang Delhi remain in the hunt for a place in the playoffs.

Rohit got U Mumba off to a quick start with two raids in two minutes to see them led 4-1. The first half saw Chandran Ranjit pick up a couple of raid points and no other raider from Dabang Delhi could get going.

It was Dabang Delhi’s defence that kept them in the first half. For U Mumba Rohit Baliyan was in fine form and Surender made crucial tackles at the back.

U Mumbai inflicted the first all out of the match in the 16th minute to lead 16-8. It was an impressive first half display from U Mumba as they went into the break leading 19-11.

Dabang Delhi were on equal footing at the start of the second half as they matched U Mumba point for point but still trailed 15-23 after 27 minutes.

Siddharth successful raid in the 30th minute led to another all out as U Mumba led 30-15.

After the second all out of the match U Mumba completely asserted the dominance. Delhi surrendered haplessly as in the last 10 minutes they could score just four points.

U Mumba inflicted another all out in the last five minutes and registered a comfortable 44-19 win in the end.

Asus ZenFone Max M2 Confirmed to Launch in India Alongside ZenFone Max Pro M2 Tomorrow


Asus ZenFone Max M2 and Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 were made official in Russia last week, and now they are all set to launch in India tomorrow. While Asus was so far only teasing the launch of the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2, it has now confirmed that the Asus ZenFone Max M2 will also launch alongside. The ZenFone Max Pro M2 and ZenFone Max M2 devices will launch at a New Delhi event on Tuesday, December 11, and are set to be available exclusively on Flipkart.

The Asus India event will begin at 12.30pm IST, and the live stream can be watched below. The company is set to launch two smartphones – the Asus ZenFone Max M2 and Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 in the country. The smartphones are confirmed to be Flipkart exclusive, with pricing and launch offers will be announced tomorrow. Asus has also announced a contest wherein users who share screenshots from the live stream, of their favourite feature of the Asus ZenFone Max M2 or the ZenFone Max Pro M2 will stand a chance to win one of the devices that will be launched.
