Girl palak arrested who blackmailed bhaiyyu maharaj in indore

BJP Leader Arrested In Indore Woman’s Murder, Plot Inspired By Film: Cops

Police said the woman was strangulated and her body was burnt. (Representational)

Indore:

Five people, including a BJP leader and his three sons were arrested on Saturday for allegedly killing a 22-year-old woman in Indore two years ago. Police said they found similarities between the crime and the 2015 Bollywood film ‘Drishyam’ starring Ajay Devgn.

Police said BJP leader Jagdish Karotiya was having an affair with the woman. She insisted on staying with him despite disapproval from his family. “Due to family discord, the BJP leader and his sons plotted to kill the woman. They strangulated her and later burnt her body.”

“We have come to know that the accused had watched Drishyam before planning the murder. Inspired by a movie scene, they buried the body of a dog at one place. They spread word that someone had buried a human body. They deliberately misled us,” police said.

Police conducted a Brain Electrical Oscillation Signature test, a non-invasive, neuro-psychological technique of interrogation, in which a suspect’s participation in a crime is detected by eliciting electrophysiological impulses.

The woman’s family alleged that the accused was given police patronage.

IndiGo Cancels Indore To Delhi Flight, BJP Lawmaker Meenakshi Lekhi Among Passengers Stranded At Indore Airport

The IndiGo flight, operated by an Airbus A320, was scheduled to take off at 9.20 pm

Mumbai:

Bharatiya Janata Party lawmaker Meenakshi Lekhi and her co-passengers were stranded at the Indore airport after their flight to New Delhi was cancelled at the last minute due to “technical” reasons.

“Stuck at Indore Airport, people are angry and disappointed by the conduct of IndiGo officials,” Ms Lekhi said in a tweet along with a video clip of the angry passengers.

The IndiGo flight 6E 8867, operated by an Airbus A320, was scheduled to take off at 9.20 pm, but the airline informed the passengers that the flight was delayed by half-an-hour. “Fifteen minutes later, IndiGo announced that it had cancelled the flight due to technical reasons,” a passenger said.

“The airline also informed the passengers the flight will now depart on Monday at 12.30,” he added.

The passengers also claimed that the airline did not accept the request for providing food or hotel accommodations, alleging that the IndiGo staff was not at all cooperative.

IndiGo officials could not be contacted for comments.
